Website Almost done!

So the reason I started this blog was to gather information for a website for school. I have been working on this website and I think its turned out pretty well considering I don't have a whole lot of design experience. I did create the header, but the rest of the website is done in HTML and CSS. I would like to keep the site, but not sure if I will.

Audrey Assad Inspired CD Cover

Audrey Assad used to make her own CD covers when she first started out. This girl bleeds creativity. Anyway, I found this website that actually shows how she did it. Look for the cute little "Firefly" CD that Audrey made. I think this tutorial could be used for other things too like photo discs, home movies, etc. What a cute idea!

Oh what loveliness is in this song. You know the song, "His eyes are on the Sparrow"...well Audrey sings this one beautifully.

And the single is now available through iTunes and Amazon. Go get it.

Seriously, I lost my Twitter account information. I just logged back in today after a half hour of trying to figure out what my problem was. It's AudreyAssadFan to you peeps. So go check it.

I got a rough draft of the first 3 pages of the website for my HTML class. David Holzemer is pretty awesome and gave me permission to use some of his photos of Assad for my class project. I love when things come together.

I got the first four pages completed after screwing with a header for 3 hours. Here's a screenshot of the top and the bottom (I couldn't figure out how to make a complete screen shot of the entire front page, so bear with me):

I haven't uploaded any of it yet because my instructor didn't give me the directions to do so. Hmph. Well it would be cool if someday I actually kept a website for the fans of Assad, but I can't even keep track of myself most days, so we'll see about that.

For now, this blog will have to do :)

I'm making a fan page for my HTML class for Audrey Assad. This website is to store all the data I need to create the website. Who knows? Maybe one day I'll actually make this thing "for real".
